The children want to start collecting plastic bottle tops to recycle with Lids4Kids. They meet a nice volunteer who will drive their lids to Canberra for them. Then they send a letter home to their families and ask them to collect plastic bottle tops from milk bottles, pop bottles and water bottles. The children enjoy washing the lids in warm soapy water with their family (and pet dog). Next week all the children bring in a bag of lids each. Together they group the lids into colour groups. The nice volunteer pick them up and takes them to Lids4Kids in Canberra. The lids are then turned into a rainbow colored park bench. The teacher surprises the children by buying the rainbow park bench for their playground.
Nibbles was my beautiful hamster, with soft, fluffy fur and big, curious eyes. I had gotten her as a present from my parents and she quickly became my beloved pet. Every day, I would spend hours playing with Nibbles in her brightly colored cage. She loved to run on her wheel and explore every nook and cranny of her home. There was always one treat in that Nibbles couldn’t resist, sunflower seeds. As soon as she saw me holding the bag of seeds, she would stand on her hind legs and squeak excitedly. One day, I decided to take Nibbles out of her cage and let her explore my room. As Nibbles grew older, she started to slow down and spend more time napping. Although she was just a hamster, she had brought so much joy and love into my life. My heart sank as I realized she had passed away in her sleep. I couldn’t stop the tears from falling as I said goodbye to my beautiful hamster.

John Jr and Hopsi were intrigued and wanted to know how they could have faith. 2. Granny explained faith is confidence or trust in God and his promises, based on evidence but without absolute proof other than his written word, which is the Bible. Granny shared the Bible verse in Hebrews 11:1 "Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen". Granny went on to explain that our faith Belief is that God exists, loves us, and sent his son to save us and by showing a commitment by believing that Christ can save us, and how we should putour lives in his hands 2. John Jr and Hopsi wanted a better understanding of faith, so Granny told them that Faith is also complementary to hope. Faith is grounded in the reality of the past, while hope looks to the future. Without faith, there is no hope, and without hope, there is no true faith.Granny told John Jr and Hopsi that they must have a strong trust. 3. Granny went on to say how important the Truth is and urged John Jr and Hopsi to be truthful. She explained that Faith is acting on the truth, whether we feel the truth or not, whether we like the truth or not, whether we agree with the truth or not. 4. John Jr and Hopsi decided that they would practice their faith by HEEARING and they would Listen to God's Word by reading Bible and listening in Sunday School at church. They said they would PRAY and connect with God. John Jr told Hopsi that they couldTALK to friends about their faith. Hopsi said they could LIVE out their faith by Worshipping God and Jesus.

Page 2: Gideon was accused of breaking and entering in Florida in 1961. When he was denied representation for his trial. He would go up against Louie Wainwright, the Florida Department of Corrections Secretary. Page 3: Gideon, with no means to hire a lawyer, found himself standing alone in a courtroom. He believed everyone had the right to a lawyer. Gideon was sentenced to prison. Page 4: But Gideon refused to accept defeat. he wrote a letter to the Supreme Court. One day a letter arrived for Gideon from a lawyer that believed in Gideon and wanted to help. Page 5: In a historic decision, the Supreme Court declared that the right to council was a fundamental right for all. Page 6: Thanks to his perseverance and pursuit of justice and civil rights, Gideon's conviction was overturned. Page 7: Gideon is free and changed history! Page 8: The End!
