In the magical land of Numberville, the numbers lived in cozy houses on a street called Place Value Lane. There were two neighborhoods: Tens Town and Ones Village. One day, in Ones Village, the number 3 was trying to give 5 apples to a friend, but there was a problem. 3 didn't have enough apples! Oh no! How can I give 5 apples when I only have 3? thought the number. But in Numberville, the numbers always help each other. So, 3 had an idea: "I’ll borrow some apples from my neighbor in Tens Town!" So, 3 went next door to Tens Town to talk to the number 6 who lived there. "Hey 6, I need to give away more apples than I have. Can I borrow some from you?" 6 smiled and said, "Of course! We’re neighbors, and neighbors always help out." So, 6 gave 1 of its apples to 3, but because it was from Tens Town, it was worth 10 apples! Now, 3 turned into 13 with the borrowed apples! "Yay!" said 13. "Now I have more than enough to give away 5 apples." After sharing 5 apples, 13 was left with 8 apples. And since 6 gave 1 apple to Ones Village, it turned into 5 in Tens Town. The numbers were happy because they helped each other, and everyone got exactly what they needed. And so, whenever a number doesn’t have enough to subtract, they just borrow from their neighbors in Tens Town, and everything works out perfectly.

He set his sights on helping the kingdom's farmers increase their crop yields and soon discovered a innovative irrigation system. With a sense of calm and centeredness, Kofi broke down his goal into achievable steps and took small actions each day towards it. But Kofi's progress was threatened when his brother fell ill, and Kofi felt resentment towards the gods. Kalulu counseled Kofi to let go of these negative feelings and instead focus on being a positive force of kindness and respect towards others. By releasing his resentment, Kofi created space for positivity and joy to enter his life. As Kofi worked alongside the farmers, he realized that everyone had different leadership styles. Some farmers were quiet and went about their work in a methodical thoughtful way. Some liked to gather the workers around them to make sure that each person could speak up and be heard. Some liked to laugh and joke, and inspire the others by working longer and harder. Yet some were more serious, and liked to give clear orders of what to be done and bye when. In respecting and embracing these differences, the kingdom achieved greater success and harmony. Kofi's journey taught him that with a positive attitude, meditation, goal-setting and releasing resentment, he could overcome any obstacle and make a meaningful impact on his kingdom.

It was a chilly December morning, and the Johnson family was busy setting up their Christmas tree. Dad, Kendrick Sr. hung the last ornament and asked, 'Who's ready for some fun in the snow?' The kids, Kendrick Jr., Anna-Louise, and Kenton, shouted with excitement, eager to go outside. But before they could head out, Mom, Robin had some exciting news to share. She smiled and said, 'I'm pregnant, and today we'll find out if the baby is a boy or a girl. Anna-Louise guessed, 'It's a girl!' while Kendrick Jr. insisted, 'It's a boy!' 'Look, I'm making a baby angel,' he giggled. Robin watched her children play and said, 'Aww, Kenton, that's so sweet.' Kenton then began to build a tiny snowman and proudly declared, 'Look, I'm making a baby snowman.' After playing in the snow, the family went inside for hot chocolate and cookies. Robin pulled out a secret envelope while everyone sipped their drinks. Kendrick Sr. asked, 'Alright everyone, who wants to open the envelope?' The kids shouted, 'Me! Me! Me!' Robin smiled and said, 'Let's all open it slowly together.' As they opened the envelope, they saw a tiny card with big blue letters saying, 'It's A BOY!!!' The family hugged each other tightly, and Anna-Louise exclaimed, 'I'm having another brother!'

One sunny afternoon, Jake and Mia were excited to play at the park. Their mom reminded them, "Be home by 5:30 P.M. to help with dinner." When they arrived at the park, Mia checked her watch. "It's 4:00 P.M., so we can play until 5:30 P.M. Let's use our time wisely!" Jake and Mia enjoyed playing on the swings, running races, and even making new friends. Mia checked her watch again.
