She quickly approached Ian and said, "Good morning, Ian! Don’t use your phone while walking; it’s dangerous." Ian quickly put his phone away. "Oh, hi! Thank you for telling me, Peddy. Come on, let’s walk together!" As they continued walking, Peddy noticed white lines painted across the road. "Ian, we should walk on the pedestrian lane. Pedestrian lanes are designed to help us cross the road safely." They were about to cross when Peddy saw a traffic light ahead with three different colors. She stopped at the sidewalk. Ian looked at Peddy in confusion. "Why did you stop, Peddy? Come on! There are no cars anymore; we can cross the road." Peddy shook her head. "No, Ian. The traffic light is green, which means vehicles can go. Red means stop, and yellow means slow down." Ian then noticed the pedestrian signal. "Does the hand palm sign mean we should wait and not cross yet?" Peddy nodded. "Yes! And look, now the walking man signal has lit up. That means we can cross safely. That’s a pedestrian signal!" Ian was about to step forward, but Peddy stopped him again. "Before crossing, we should always follow the Stop, Look, and Listen rule. Stop before stepping onto the road. Look for approaching vehicles. Sometimes you can’t see them, so listen carefully for any nearby cars. If it’s all clear, then we can cross." Ian nodded, understanding the safety rules. Finally, Peddy and Ian walked across the pedestrian lane safely. They greeted the school guard happily, feeling secure and ready for their first day of school.

Hi, I’m Karots, the Welsh pony, and though I may be a bit older now, I still have a mischievous streak! As a lesson pony, I spend my days teaching children not just how to ride but how to stay alert and on their toes! My mornings start like anyone else's—with breakfast, but don’t dare give me food I don’t like, or I’ll simply refuse to eat! After my meal, I play with my pony pals—biting, kicking, and running around wildly—it’s our favorite way to bond! Then, the real fun begins. I know when the children arrive, and I can’t wait to greet them. I like to test my new two-legged friends as soon as they put the halter on, by bolting out of the stall. Sometimes I run so fast I lift them right off their feet—what a ride! Of course, if they let go of the lead rope, it’s FREEDOM! I trot around like the star of my own parade, and the humans reward me with carrots and cookies for my stellar performance. Once they catch me, it’s time for the next round of fun in the arena. I make sure their ride is exciting—no boring trotting in circles for me! I prefer zig-zag patterns, spontaneous canters, and inserting my head or leg through the fence, just to make them squeal. I’ve also mastered the art of picking up branches, just to see how long I can hold on while they try to pry them from my mouth! Of course, after all that fun, I always end the day with good behavior. The children un-tack me, give me lots of scratches (the human version of chewing, I’ve learned), and most importantly, plenty of carrots. After all, carrots are a Karots’ favorite treat!

They kidnap Ruby and Harper and they are terrified. Ellie hears the commotion and follows them, Ellie grabs Jelly Bean and squeezes him and allows Ruby and Harper to go free. Billy Bob slithers away. Jelly Bean and Billy Bob are never seen again. Ellie takes them back to the circus on her ridiculously small elephant car. When Ellie, Ruby and Harper get back to the circus the circus master is shocked it happened. Gives them a special room with a lock to protect them and Ellie gets peanuts and apples as a reward. They continue at the circus as best friends.
