They sneaked into the farm, and the monkey quickly climbed the trees, picking bananas and apples, tossing them down to the donkey, who happily ate. Suddenly, they heard the farmer shouting: "Who’s stealing my fruits?!" The monkey instantly jumped up and disappeared into the trees. But the donkey, unable to move quickly, froze in place. The farmer rushed over, caught him, and tied him in the barn as punishment. Meanwhile, the monkey escaped back to the forest alone. Hours passed, and guilt filled the monkey’s heart. He couldn't leave his friend behind. That night, he sneaked back into the farm, carefully opened the barn door, and whispered: "Donkey, let’s get out of here!" The donkey hurried outside, but before leaving, he stopped and said: "You knew this was dangerous, yet you convinced me to do it. A true friend doesn’t leave his friend behind in trouble." The monkey felt ashamed and apologized sincerely. He had learned a valuable lesson about friendship and loyalty. From that day on, he became wiser and never put his friend in danger again. Brandon shared stories with Barkley about their new house. It has a pool and a big back yard for them to play. Barkley was sad, he was going to miss all his neighborhood friends. He wondered if he would have any new friends at his new house. What if Brandon made new friends? What if the house was too small and there was no room for a puppy? Tomorrow was moving day and a new chapter for the family. Dad, mom, Brandon and Barkley jumped in the car and headed to the new house. The moving truck was right behind. As they pulled into the new neighborhood Barkley's eyes got big, it was a big house! Brandon and Barkley jumped out of the car as soon as dad pull into the driveway. They ran through the front door and stopped and looked at each other. Barkley began barking and running in circles, so much room to play!!!! As Brandon opened the back door Barkley ran and jumped in the pool!!! SPLASH! WOOF WOOF!! I love my new house!!!! Barkley stepped out of the pool soaking wet and he began to shake getting Brandon all wet. They laughed and Brandon gave him a big hug. You will always be my best friend Barkley!!!

Hi, I’m Karots, the Welsh pony, and though I may be a bit older now, I still have a mischievous streak! As a lesson pony, I spend my days teaching children not just how to ride but how to stay alert and on their toes! My mornings start like anyone else's—with breakfast, but don’t dare give me food I don’t like, or I’ll simply refuse to eat! After my meal, I play with my pony pals—biting, kicking, and running around wildly—it’s our favorite way to bond! Then, the real fun begins. I know when the children arrive, and I can’t wait to greet them. I like to test my new two-legged friends as soon as they put the halter on, by bolting out of the stall. Sometimes I run so fast I lift them right off their feet—what a ride! Of course, if they let go of the lead rope, it’s FREEDOM! I trot around like the star of my own parade, and the humans reward me with carrots and cookies for my stellar performance. Once they catch me, it’s time for the next round of fun in the arena. I make sure their ride is exciting—no boring trotting in circles for me! I prefer zig-zag patterns, spontaneous canters, and inserting my head or leg through the fence, just to make them squeal. I’ve also mastered the art of picking up branches, just to see how long I can hold on while they try to pry them from my mouth! Of course, after all that fun, I always end the day with good behavior. The children un-tack me, give me lots of scratches (the human version of chewing, I’ve learned), and most importantly, plenty of carrots. After all, carrots are a Karots’ favorite treat!

Florence the Dachshund, was born in Kentucky. She had brown specks and long ears. Her parents loved her very much. But they could not keep her. At the same time, Ariana and Tanner were looking for a puppy. Then, they found Florence. Ariana and Tanner saw Florence and instantly fell in love. Florence was tiny with green eyes and floppy ears. Florence was a little scared at first. She barked a soft good-bye to her old family. Florence whined a bit in the car. The ride was long, and she felt sleepy. She wondered what her new home would be like. When she woke up, she was in her new home. At first, Florence was shy and a little sad. But Ariana and Tanner were very kind to her. They showed her around the house. There were lots of toys and even a ball pit. Flo wagged her tail and jumped in. Florence met new family members. Florence felt loved and happy. She realized she had a big family now. It made her feel special. Ariana loved dressing up Florence. She had little outfits for her. She looked stylish and cute! Florence enjoyed the attention and posing for pictures. Tanner loved music. He sang songs with Florence. She howled happily along and wagged her tail to the rhythm. They made a fun duet! It was their special time together. Florence was not sure about baths at first. But she loved the snuggles after. Ariana wrapped her in a warm towel. Florence felt cozy and safe. She enjoyed the gentle rubs. Florence missed her old family sometimes, but she loved her new one. She had everything she needed and realized that family wasn’t blood. It was the people who loved you, and she was pawsitively happy and home.
