Доверчивая девочка не знала, как опасно разговаривать с незнакомцами. Она все рассказала Волку, и тот побежал к бабушке «что было духу по самой короткой дорожке». Красная Шапочка не заподозрила ничего плохого. Она шла по самой длинной дороге, «по пути то и дело останавливалась, рвала цветы и собирала в букеты». Волк был очень голодным, «потому что три дня ничего не ел». Увидев беспомощную старушку, он тут же проглотил ее. Затем он улегся в бабушкину постель и стал дожидаться Красную Шапочку. Девочка не сразу догадалась, что перед ней Волк, а не бабушка. Она лишь подивилась большим рукам, глазам и зубам. Волк кинулся на Красную Шапочку и проглотил ее. По счастью, мимо проходили дровосеки. Они бросились к волку, распороли ему брюхо, и «оттуда вышла Красная Шапочка, а за ней и бабушка — обе целые и невредимые»

And he chased the earth to roast but it ran away immediately. The rat invited various animals such as bees, bees, ants, lapinigs, linta, squirrels and snakes and said they would gather at the old man's house at night.
