In a small town, there lived a little girl named Maria Clara a.k.a "Klay". She was kind and thoughtful, but she had a fear that kept her from being close to others. But in a dark corner, Cruella did plot, Her hair split in colors, she envied their lot. "With Abracadabra," she'd summon her might, Flying cheetahs appeared, fierce in flight. The kingdom was safe, thanks to brave Surya, With Mustafa and Kumar, they showed no fear. Arrows flew swiftly, the cheetahs were down, The generals were hailed, heroes renowned. Cruella was fuming, she whispered again, "Abracadabra," and dragons descended like rain. But King Adoola, with courage and grace, Used magical webs, to put them in place. Now the dragons, once fierce, were loyal and true, For the King’s kind heart, they would see it through. In a last wicked move, Cruella's voice soared, "Abracadabra," and trees turned to swords. But the dragons, now friends, with flames so bright, Burned the trees down, ending the fight. King Adoola, with wisdom, captured her fast, "Abracadabra," he chanted, her powers didn't last. Banished far away, Cruella's tale did conclude, In the sky kingdom, joy was renewed. For good always triumphs, love lights the way, And in their flying castle, the family would play.

One day Layla wore her superpower costume and was mischievous in so many different ways. Her father told her she wasn’t super at all and sent her to her room without her lunch. Layla felt cross and angry. Just then, her room changed and it became the clouds in the sky. That night, Layla climbed into her private hot air balloon and soared high above the houses. She flew in and out of clouds and almost over a rainbow to the land where the giants live. Layla gazed at this place as her balloon approached. She could see tall trees that towered and stretched as high as the sky. She could see huge houses that lurked in the darkness beyond. She could even see fantastic flowers whose beautiful fragrance danced on the breeze. When she arrived at the place where the giants live, the giants stomped their enormous feet and boomed with their enormous voices and crunched their enormous teeth. Layla didn’t care. She waved at them cheerily and then they made her Queen of the Giants. Soon though, Layla grew weary of the Giants and dreamed of her home. So she climbed back into her hot air balloon, drifted through clouds and almost over a rainbow until she landed back in the warmth of her very own room.

I knew Harvey in play school, even before my sister Sylvie did. He fell in love with her, and she probably saved him from himself. Each to her own tastes, I always say, for I could never have lived with a man like him. Harvey was an oddball even at age 2. He played only with toys of a single colour. The triangle, square and circle all had to be red, or all blue, otherwise, he wouldn’t fit them into his puzzle. All his toy cars had to be black. If they were blue or yellow, his dad had to paint them black, or he wouldn’t touch them. And every night, he parked them beside his bed in tidy rows. If you pushed one out of place inadvertently, he’d get out of bed and settle the lot again.

Little Bear woke up. He felt happy because could play outside. Little Bear played with his red ball. He kicked the ball, and it rolled far away. Little Bear felt sad. Little Bear asked Mommy Bear for help. Mommy Bear found the ball under a bush. He laughed and hugged his ball tightly. Then, Little Bear saw a big, loud truck on the road. The noise was very loud. Little Bear felt scared and ran to Mommy Bear. Mommy Bear gave Little Bear a big hug. "It's okay, Little Bear. You are safe," she said. Little Bear felt safe and happy. Later, Little Bear asked Mommy Bear for some ice cream. But Mommy Bear said, "First lunch, then ice cream." Little Bear felt angry. He stomped his feet and crossed his arms. Mommy Bear said, "It's okay to feel angry. Let's take a deep breath together." They took a deep breath in and blew it out slowly. Little Bear started to feel calmer. They had lunch together, and then Mommy Bear gave Little Bear some ice cream. Little Bear felt happy again.

Once upon a time, in a sunny meadow, there lived a friendly alligator. Alligator was a happy alligator who loved adventures. One day, as Alligator strolled along the edge of a sparkling blue lake, he saw a shiny apple floating in the water. He wanted to taste it, but there was a problem. Alligator was afraid of water and couldn't swim! Determined to get that apple, Alligator decided to ask for help. He met an agile ant, who was known for her amazing swimming skills. Ant agreed to help Alligator. She climbed onto a leaf and paddled to the apple, using her tiny legs like oars. With her teamwork and bravery, they retrieved the apple. Alligator took a big bite of the apple, and it was delicious! He thanked Ant for her help and decided to learn to swim, so he wouldn't have to rely on others in the future. Alligator and Ant became the best of friends, and they had many more exciting adventures together, both on land and in the water.
