The rivers dried up, the crops turned brown, and the villagers didn’t know what to do. 火, with his fiery spirit, said, “I’ll climb 山 and find a way to fix this!” 水, always the voice of reason, said, “I’ll come with you. We’ll solve this together.” As they climbed the mountain, the air grew warmer, and the ground rumbled softly. At the top, they found a glowing crater filled with fiery embers. 火 picked up a burning rock and said, “Look! The mountain’s fire! A cool spring bubbled up from the ground, calming the rumbling and sending fresh water down the mountain. The water flowed into the village, filling the rivers and bringing life back to the plants. The villagers cheered, and 火 realized that his fiery energy worked best when balanced with 水’s calm wisdom. Together, they had helped the mountain and saved the village.

He tries very hard and makes a lot of progress improving his self control. However, the constant temptation is unpleasant, so Chomper Rex ultimately decides that he should find a position that is a better fit for him. His story teaches that while self control is important, so is finding the right environment where we are most likely to thrive.

Sofia read books to her baby sister, looked at pictures, and talked to parents to learn about babies. 7. When Sofia finally took care of her baby sister she was very prepared because she had learned so much about babies! 8. Now Sofia is 6 and wants to be able to pick out her clothes to wear each day. Her mom told her, "You need to learn about weather, Sofia. Then you can choose your clothes for the day." 9. Sofia wondered, "How can I be prepared for any type of weather? What is weather, anyway?" 10. She has always heard words like: temperature and moisture and wind, but she doesn't know what they mean. 11. Can we learn about weather along with Sofia?
